Within just three years, the OneVoice Awards have become the industry's darling and event highlight: No surprise there: In contrast to other awards, there is no submission fee. This is highly unusual, as it is precisely these fees that usually help cover the costs associated with hosting the awards. But legendary UK voice actor Peter Dickson and casting director Hugh Edwards deliberately take a different approach with their OneVoice Awards: No fees and a set of rules designed for absolute transparency have ensured that the three-year-old award sets new standards.

Of course, Covid-19 also caused quite a stir at the organizers of the OneVoice Conference, so the award had to be presented in 2020 online.
The category "Voice Job Site of the Year International" took a unique position: Here, it was not the top-class jury that had the final say, but the professional audience, with only those who submitted their entry for the award being entitled to vote. That way, any trickery by winning votes from customers, fans, and followers of nominees was ruled out.
Hat-trick: After 2018 and 2019, bodalgo also won the award for the best speaker site in 2020
This makes it all the more pleasing that bodalgo was able to bring the award back to Germany for the third time in a row – despite solid international competition: voice123, voplanet, voiceovers.co.uk, voices UK/US, and mandy were also nominated.
This year it was not enough for the award "Best Voiceover Services Provider of the Year." Although bodalgoCall was nominated, Bee Productive took the award home with them – congratulations to the British colleagues!
So there are several goals for 2021: Defending the title, winning the second award with bodalgoCall, and – most importantly! – bringing the event back live and with an entire cast to the London docks – we are looking forward to that!
